Marianna Christodoulou Devledian, PhD, CCC-SLP, received her doctoral degree in 2015 from the University of Cyprus in the area of Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Cognitive Neuropsychology. She received her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in 2008, and her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Maryland in 2002.

She has worked for an academic year for the Ministry of Education in Cyprus (2005-2006), before working as a private practitioner and running her own private practice in 2008. Parallel to her doctoral studies, and running her practice, she was a research assistant at the Neuro Cognitive Research Lab at the University of Cyprus. Between 2013-2015 she was a clinical supervisor and a lecturer in the department of Speech Language Pathology at the European University of Cyprus, and between 2016-2019 she was a visiting lecturer at the Cyprus University of Technology. As of September 2020, she is a lecturer at the European University of Cyprus.

Her expertise centers around neurological disorders (both in children and adults) that affect language and cognition. Her research interests involve semantic acquisition, development and organization. Acquired neurological disorders and their effects on language and cognition, language and cognitive rehabilitation in neurologically impaired children and adults.

She is a member of the Association of Registered Speech Language Pathologists of Cyprus (SYEL), and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Maria Nicolaou received her bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences with a major in Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology with honors from the Cyprus University of Technology in 2018. She also received a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with a specialization in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from the University of Cyprus in 2014.

During her clinical practice, she has collaborated with "Theotokos" Foundation in Athens, for the support of children, teenagers, and adults with cognitive disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), "ITHACA" Daycare Center for the support of adults with dementia, as well as "ALMA" in Limassol.

She has attended the Intermediate Virtual IMSE Orton-Gillingham training that supports people with learning disorders, such as dyslexia, and the Makaton Core Vocabulary Workshop, a unique language program that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate.

Her clinical experience focuses on the intervention of people with Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder (SCD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), and neurological disorders in adults.

Maria provides speech language therapy intervention in English, and Greek.

She is a member of the Association of Registered Speech Language Pathologists of Cyprus (SYEL).

Ioanna Pavlidou received her bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences with a major in Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology with honors from the Cyprus University of Technology in 2020.

During her clinical practice, she has collaborated with the Rehabilitation Clinic of the Cyprus University of Technology, and MCD Beyond Speech Ltd., working both with children, and adults. She has also worked as an external associate at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the Cyprus University of Technology, analyzing linguistic samples of narrative discourse of children with fluency disorders.

She has attended a series of seminars on early intervention, sensory integration, myo-functional rehabilitation, and parent counseling, such as the practical seminar "Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia & SIGNS", and the International Certified Program Hanen "Teacher Talk", which provides strategies supporting language development in early childhood.

Her clinical experience focuses on early intervention, developmental cognitive, and language disorders, and feeding difficulties in children.

She is a member of the Association of Registered Speech Language Pathologists of Cyprus (SYEL).

Simoni Simeou received her master's degree in Speech Pathology from European University Cyprus in 2022, with honors. She has also received a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences with a major in Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology from the Cyprus University of Technology in 2020.

During her clinical practice, she has collaborated with the Rehabilitation Clinic of the Cyprus University of Technology, "HOPE" Daycare Center, and various public nursery and primary schools in Limassol, working both with children, and adults.

She has attended a series of seminars on sensory integration, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Her clinical experience focuses on Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD), sensory disorders (e.g., Hearing loss), and neurological disorders in adults.

Natalie Kouyoumdjian received her master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education with a major in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Language Development with honors from University College London (UCL) in 2020. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care from the University of Brighton in 2019.

During her practice she has collaborated with ‘Queensmill’ School for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

She has also worked in various nurseries in the United Kingdom, and she is currently working as a nursery teacher in a trilingual school in Nicosia.

She has attended a series of seminars on inclusive teaching, supporting early language and communication, the power of play, and "MAKATON".

Irene Panteli received her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the SRH University, Heidelberg in 2022.

During her clinical practice, she has collaborated with the “LVR-Klinikum - Kliniken der Heinrich-Heine-Universität” in Düsseldorf for the support of adults with mental illnesses and older adults with dementia, the “Children’s Hospital auf der Bult” in Hannover and the “Children’s Hospital” in Zürich for the support of premature and newborn infants in the NICU, the “Westfälisches Institut für Entwicklungsförderung” in Bielefeld, for the support of children and teenagers with neurodevelopmental disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), as well as the “St. Marienkrankenhaus” in Ludwigshafen” for the support of older adults in the hospital.

She has worked for a year (2022-2023) as a Music Therapist for “Klepsydra" Therapy Centre in Larnaka, as well as “PAIDOlogio” in Limassol. Since October 2022 she has been collaborating with the Association of Rheumatic Patients of Cyprus, offering group music therapy sessions in Larnaca and Ammochostos.

She has attended the Neurologic Music Therapy Training that supports patients with neurological disorders, such as stroke, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease and other neurological diseases affecting cognition, movement, communication, and psychosocial function. She has also attended the “First Sounds” Training, for the support of premature and newborn infants in the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit. Furthermore, she has attended the “Introduction to DIRFloortime for Music Therapists” Training, which is an innovative and practical approach that is based on child-led musical-play to foster regulation, engagement, reciprocity, and communication.

Her clinical experience focuses on early intervention, neurodevelopmental disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), neurological disorders and mental illnesses in adults.

Irene provides Music Therapy sessions in Greek, English, and German.
